Books

Some books which I have found interesting. Well worth a read.

The above book gives a concise history about graphic design. It explains the full history of graphic design from its roots in development of printing, to its means of identification, information, promotion and professionalism.

A step by step book explaining how you can recreate old posters etc in a way that modernises them. Very useful techniques.

Posters of interest

A couple of interesting posters that appeel to me. More so due to the graphics and use of type.

Really like the old war posters, something very different in terms of attention very in your face.

After experimenting with paint and text I designed a few posters which represent me as a person, showing interests and things which are important to me.
